I remember thinking to myself 'what the fuck happened to the Calypso twins?' part way through it. Oh and speaking of bad guys, let's not forget the part of the game where Katagawa suddenly became the main bad guy for a few hours? Like seriously, never heard a peep about the twins for a good chunk of the Promethea quest line. If I had to guess, I'm sure they'll all make some big comeback and work together to defeat the Calypso twins at the end of the game or some corny shit. Instead, all the characters seem locked into their own act of the game and hardly carry any relevance once you're done with them. We should have recruited Vaughn and Lorelei and everyone along the way to join Sanctuary and assist later in the game. And I'm assuming the same is gonna happen with Wainwright and Hammerlock on Eden-6. Vaughn even got his own damn intro scene and became utterly irrelevant after level 7 basically. Rhys and Lorelei? Yeah, they were super relevant for exactly the part of the game on Promethea. To be fair, I haven't finished the game yet (lvl 32 at the moment), but I think I'm approaching the end and at this point it seems too far gone to recover.įor example, NOBODY seems to interact really between the different acts of the plot.

I think what bugs me the most is the complete lack of a cohesive cast in this game.
